Supply Chain Intern Opportunity at Sappi

Sappi is offering a one-year internship program for recent graduates in commerce or supply chain. This internship provides meaningful, hands-on experience within the Supply Chain department, under the guidance of experienced mentors. It is designed to help candidates transition smoothly into the professional environment.

Location: Rosebank, Johannesburg

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the sales, production, and supply chain departments.
  • Assist customers with queries related to their orders.
  • Support the supply chain team with forecasting, inventory planning, and scheduling.
  • Process orders in accordance with Sappi’s standard operating procedures and review peer orders to minimize booking errors.
  • Assist the Planning department with allocation, block space, and urgent manufacturing requirements.

Requirements

  • Grade 12/Matric qualification.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Finance, or Business Administration.
  • No prior experience required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications: Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
