Mogale City Local Municipality is inviting South African unemployed graduates to apply for the 2026 Internship Programme within the Department of Corporate Support Services. This internship programme is designed to provide valuable workplace experience in the public sector while supporting the municipality’s key functions in Occupational Health and Safety and Information Communication Technology (ICT).

Available Internship Opportunities
Human Capital Management – Occupational Health and Safety (2 Posts)
Interns will gain experience in:
- Workplace safety policies and compliance
- Health monitoring and risk assessments
- Safety training programmes
- Environmental health regulations
- Incident reporting and prevention
Information Communication Technology (ICT) Internships (4 Posts)
Interns will receive hands-on experience in:
- IT support and troubleshooting
- Network management
- Database systems
- Information security practices
- Software systems used in municipal operations
- Technical support for internal departments
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Occupational Health and Safety Internship
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related qualification such as Safety Management, Environmental Health, Risk Management, Industrial Hygiene, or Environmental Health Sciences
ICT Internship
- Grade 12 (Matric)
- National Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or related ICT qualification (e.g., Information Technology, Computer Science, Network Engineering, Software Development, Information Systems)
Additional Requirements
- Be computer literate
- Be unemployed
- First-time participant in an internship programme
- Be 35 years old or younger
- Be a resident of Mogale City
- Willingness to complete the full 12-month programme
