Medtronic Limited South Africa is offering an exciting internship opportunity for aspiring professionals in the healthcare technology field. As an intern, you will provide in-OR/Cath-Lab support to facilitate the adoption of Medtronic Cardiac Rhythm Management (CRM) technology during implant procedures. This role also includes delivering in-field support for CRM patient follow-ups, allowing you to build strong relationships with clinicians and drive demand for our innovative technology.

Key Responsibilities

  • Complete CRM Level I to IV training, followed by in-field experience in Brady, ICD, and CRT.
  • Assist in driving and generating sales within an identified territory and accounts.
  • Provide clinical and technical support during implants, patient follow-ups, pre- and post-op procedures, and MRI.
  • Support product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance.
  • Deliver on-site education and consulting, and maintain customer relations with healthcare professionals and organizations.
  • Coordinate with clinical stakeholders to ensure smooth adoption of Medtronic CRM technology.

This internship is a 12-month program starting in November (flexible; January start possible) and is based in Pretoria, Johannesburg, Cape Town, and Durban. The position requires a commitment of 40 hours per week with field-based travel to support clinical stakeholders.
