We are currently seeking an ambitious student for the position of Food Science Customer Innovation Intern for Texture & Healthful Solutions, based in Bedford Park, IL. This hybrid internship opportunity for summer 2026 will allow you to contribute to new product development and create customer-valued solutions utilizing novel reconstitution technology with fried coated products.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage work project(s) to meet project timelines and deliverables.
- Analyze and understand data, results, and scientific literature to advance projects.
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment following established guidelines for good housekeeping, GMPs, SafeServ, and safety.
- Collaborate with the Technical Service team and other internal experts to identify formulation challenges and develop innovative ideas.
- Present prototypes, project status, updates, and outcomes to team and key stakeholders.
- Compose presentations and technical reports on project findings.
This internship will focus on developing and preparing food formulations and prototypes on a lab bench top scale while adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices.
