Farm Manager – Krugersdorp Area, Gauteng
An organic farm specializing in pomegranates and other organic crops in the Krugersdorp area requires a skilled Farm Manager with practical experience in organic farming practices. The successful candidate will manage organic cultivation processes and contribute to the farm’s productivity and sustainability.
The starting salary for this position is R5 000 per month.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement organic pest control methods using organic pesticides, fungal sprays, and organic fertilizers.
- Oversee post-harvest handling activities such as cold storage management, sorting, grading, and pomegranate deseeding processes.
- Manage the organic cultivation of additional crops including avocado, Cape gooseberry, granadilla, and lemons.
- Work independently and collaboratively within the farm team to maintain high standards of organic farming.
