Stryker is seeking a Data Analyst Intern to join their Analytics team in the EMEA division. Key Responsibilities

  • Translate stakeholder requirements into effective data analytics solutions.
  • Analyze sales and product data to generate competitive and actionable insights.
  • Conduct end-to-end analysis for various markets and divisions, including code validation and deployment.
  • Support development of scalable and efficient data capabilities including integration of external data sources.
  • Collaborate with sales operations analysts, commercial analysts, and BI analysts to drive insight generation.
  • Build and enhance SQL queries, Power BI dashboards, and automate reporting processes.
  • Prepare reports and presentations communicating research findings and market insights to internal teams.

Technical Skills & Qualifications

  • Recent graduate with a master’s or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive meaningful insights.
  • Proficiency in at least one key analytics tool: SQL, Python, Power BI, or DAX.
  • Understanding of data governance concepts including documented definitions, calculation methods, data lineage, and sources.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Preferred South African citizenship.
