Internship Programme Opportunities at South African National Parks (SANParks)
Job Description
Location: Garden Route National Park, Western Cape
South African National Parks (SANParks) invites applications from graduates who have completed their Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF 6/NQF 7) at a South African Public Higher Education Institution (HEI). Successful candidates will be placed at SANParks for a period of one year with a monthly stipend of R6,355.69.
Please note, SANParks is under no obligation to offer permanent employment upon completion of the internship programme.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Unemployed graduate aged between 18 and 35 years
- South African citizen
- Completed a Bachelor’s degree or National Diploma (NQF 6/NQF 7) from a South African Public HEI
- No prior employment or participation in any internship/placement programme
- Resident within the Eastern Cape Province

- Applicants applying outside their area of residence must arrange their own accommodation and transport

- Foreign qualifications must be evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA)
- Internship appointments are subject to verification and pre-screening
- SANParks reserves the right not to make any appointment
