Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Completed or nearing completion of an accredited Master’s degree in Education or Counselling Psychology (coursework completion time will not be granted during the internship).
- An individualised internship program approved by the Professional Board for Psychology by December 2026.
- Registration with HPCSA as an intern Psychologist no later than January 2027.
- Experience in supervised therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments.
- Willingness and ability to work across multiple Nova Pioneer campuses.
- Capacity to travel as necessary for internship duties.
- An empathetic approach with a genuine passion for student success and wellbeing.
- Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate therapeutic techniques.
- Team-oriented mindset with excellent collaboration and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in using technology to support instruction and psychological services.
