Requirements
Essential Qualifications and Skills
- Completion or near completion of an accredited Master’s degree in educational or counselling psychology (no time allocated for coursework completion during internship).
- An individualised internship program approved by the Professional Board for Psychology by December 2026.
- Registration with HPCSA as an intern Psychologist by January 2027.
- Willingness and ability to work across different Nova Pioneer campuses.
- Supervised experience in therapeutic interventions and psychological assessments.
- Empathy and a deep commitment to the wellbeing and success of every student.
- Strong understanding of child development and ability to connect with diverse age groups.
- Team player with enthusiasm for group problem-solving and collaboration.
- Proficiency in using technology for instructional and therapeutic purposes.
- Willingness to travel as necessary.
