Job Overview

This Unemployed Learner Visual Merchandiser Learnership offers structured workplace learning designed to develop commercial awareness and practical merchandising skills. Learners will support customer servicing, in-store execution, and brand visibility, gaining valuable exposure to the sales environment. The role reports directly to the Account Developer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute daily call schedules across assigned retail outlets
  • Implement visual merchandising standards and branded in-store displays
  • Ensure correct stock rotation, product quality, and shelf availability
  • Monitor and maintain RED standards and execution scorecard compliance
  • Complete iRED surveys accurately
  • Support customers with ordering through the MyCCBA platform
  • Assist with promotional and brand activation activities
  • Provide relief and operational support as directed by management

Qualifications

Education

  • Grade 12 with Maths or Maths Literacy (minimum 40% pass rate)
  • Grade 12 English and a second language (minimum 40% pass rate)
  • Post-matric qualification in Sales & Marketing (advantageous)

Experience

  • Must be unemployed at the time of appointment
  • Must not be enrolled in any other learnership or full-time studies
  • Must not have completed the same learnership previously

Skills

  • Good communication and customer engagement skills
  • Ability to work six days per week
  • Willingness to travel between retail outlets
  • Driver’s Licence is advantageous
  • No criminal or adverse credit record
