Qualifications and Requirements
Applicants must meet one of the following academic criteria:
- Recently graduated with a university degree and able to start the internship within one year of graduation.
- Enrolled in the final academic year of a first university degree program (e.g., bachelor’s degree or equivalent).
- Enrolled in a postgraduate degree program (e.g., master’s or higher).
- Enrolled in a postgraduate professional traineeship program and undertaking the internship as part of this program.
Skills and Competencies
- Understanding of LGBTI and key population issues in developing countries with sensitivity to frontline activism.
- Knowledge of strategic communication and its role in achieving development goals.
- Proficiency in various communication mediums and platforms for social change and justice.
- Ability to engage with diverse partners and build productive working relationships.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Responsible, responsive, and enthusiastic attitude.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
