Transport Education Training Authority (TETA): Bursaries 2026
The Transport Education Training Authority (TETA) invites qualifying unemployed learners to apply for bursaries for the 2026 academic year.
Who should Apply?
- Learners currently in Grade 12 or who completed Matric intending to study any of the listed qualifications (see qualification list below).
- Currently registered students at universities and colleges who require funding for the 2026 academic year.
- Aviation students with valid SPL, PPL, or CPL.
- Commercial divers with matric (Senior Certificate).
- Applicants must be studying or intending to study at a University (Public/Private Institutions), University of Technology, and either Public and Private Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Colleges. This includes Accredited Aviation and Diving Schools.

- (N4-N6) or ND or B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
- (N4-N6) or ND or B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Mechanical Engineering
- (N4-N6) or ND or B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Financial Management
- (N4-N6) or ND or B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Business Management or Administration
- National Diploma, B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Logistics Management
- National Diploma, B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Road Transport Management
- National Diploma, B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Supply Chain Management including Warehouse, Storage and Distribution
- National Diploma, B-Tech, Advanced Diploma or B Degree in Transportation Management
