Solareff: YES Learnership Opportunities 2025 / 2026
Solareff is excited to announce a 12-month fixed-term learnership program as part of the Youth Employment Service (YES) initiative. This program, led by the Presidency, aims to combat youth unemployment and support BBBEE transformation goals. Young South Africans aged between 18-34 are invited to apply for this opportunity to gain valuable work experience in financial administration within our dynamic company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the finance team.
- Process invoices and credits from procurement/supply chain and suppliers into the accounting system.
- Ensure accurate documentation and filing for audit purposes.
- Handle cashbook transactions.
- Send out customer statements.
- Process customer invoices and credit notes.
- Perform ad-hoc administrative tasks as directed.
Requirements:
- Grade 12 or equivalent (a post-matric qualification is advantageous).
- South African citizen, aged 18-34.
- Strong mathematical proficiency and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, Outlook & Teams).
- Must not have been permanently employed by a single employer for more than 1 year.
- Must not be studying full-time during the employment year.
- Must not have previously participated in or registered for the YES initiative.
