The Research and Development Intern position at Talent and Skills Development Academy (PTY) LTD is designed to support the daily operations of the R&D department. This role is crucial for the development of innovative products and processes, as well as the enhancement of existing products, ensuring the sustainability, growth, and diversification of the company.
From lab experiments to industrial-scale production, the R&D Intern will ensure that developments adhere to required standards of cost, quality, timelines, security, and hygiene.
## Duties & Responsibilities
### Key Accountabilities
#### 1) Product Development
– Preparation and cooking of product recipes, including weighing raw materials.
– Conducting lab and cub line trials.
– Assisting in sample submissions to customers, which includes sample preparation, packaging, couriering, and ensuring traceability.
– Assisting in sample preparation based on customer briefs.
– Preparing flavor and sensory analyses of cooked recipes.
– Releasing cub line recipes and managing the consumption of raw materials and goods receipt on SAP.
– Preparing Material Safety Data Sheets and commercial invoices for courier services.
