Red Bull invites ambitious and motivated graduates to apply for its Sales & Operations Graduate Internship Programme located in Cape Town, South Africa. This 12-month rotational graduate internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across two critical business functions: Sales and Operations.

Programme Overview

Rotation 1: Off-Premise Key Account Manager (Sales)

In this entrepreneurial sales role, graduates will support and implement Red Bull’s retail sales strategy with a focus on franchise and off-premise key accounts. Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing the commercial strategy within the franchise channel
  • Identifying and executing new sales opportunities
  • Supporting the National Key Account Manager with promotion and profitability analysis (Nielsen, CPM)
  • Analysing, planning, and reporting on customer and key account performance
  • Managing POS stock, in-store activations, and ROI calculations
  • Building strategic customer relationships
  • Tracking budget utilisation and optimising product ranging and distribution

This rotation suits graduates who are commercially minded, analytical, action-oriented, and customer-focused.

Rotation 2: Operations (Planning, Procurement & Logistics)

The second rotation offers exposure to Red Bull’s operational backbone, focusing on efficient product flow from planning to delivery. Key responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating logistics operations, including inventory, warehousing, and distribution
  • Monitoring shipments to ensure timely delivery
  • Collaborating with 3PLs and service providers to improve logistics efficiency
  • Analysing logistics performance metrics and supporting tenders and projects
  • Assisting with stock transfer planning and scheduling
  • Analysing demand and supply plans, forecasts, and risks
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives for planning processes and tools
  • Participating in project planning and strategic discussions

Minimum Requirements

  • A recent graduate with a degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain, Logistics, Engineering, or related fields
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in teams
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and results-driven approach
  • Strong listening skills and customer engagement focus
  • Well-organised, solution-oriented, and open to coaching
