Key Responsibilities

  • Own, update, and maintain the promotional calendar for TakealotMORE initiatives.
  • Manage briefing, operations, and coordination of various marketing campaigns.
  • Liaise with partner marketing teams to facilitate joint campaigns.
  • Conceptualise, implement, and oversee ongoing promotional marketing campaigns to drive adoption and retention for TakealotMORE.
  • Collaborate closely with the merchandising team to enhance customer conversion within TakealotMORE customer journeys.
  • Drive new feature launches and develop consistent educational content on product features and differentiators.
  • Engage with brand teams on Takealot and Mr D through-the-line campaigns.
  • Coordinate with social media teams for monthly content planning, preparation, and paid influencer partnerships.
  • Collaborate with internal specialists on performance media and CRM strategies to grow TakealotMORE.
  • Prepare regular campaign and promotional performance reports (monthly, weekly, daily).
  • Serve as the key daily contact for internal teams including brand and merchandise teams.
  • Conduct competitor reviews and analyses, sharing key insights with relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensure all teams are briefed on activities that may impact their operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

  • BA or Degree in Marketing or Project Management.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative mindset for developing content, ideas, and marketing concepts.
  • Basic understanding of digital marketing platforms such as social media, Google Analytics, and email marketing tools.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Analytical skills to interpret consumer data and insights.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management capabilities.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Google Workspace tools.
