About Doctors Without Borders Southern Africa (MSF SA)

Doctors Without Borders (MSF) Southern Africa is a global network of dedicated professionals specializing in medical humanitarian work. Driven by shared humanity and guided by medical ethics, MSF teams respond to the urgent medical needs of communities affected by conflict, disasters, epidemics, and exclusion from healthcare. Our teams work on the ground daily, bearing witness and raising awareness to provoke change and mobilize support.

Present in over 70 countries worldwide, MSF brings together doctors, nurses, logisticians, water-and-sanitation experts, and other professionals to deliver essential health services in humanitarian crises. MSF Southern Africa operates from Johannesburg and Cape Town, governed by a regional association with over 300 members across seven countries.
