PC&L Graduate – Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) Port Elizabeth
Faurecia Clean Mobility (FCM) is a global leader in the automotive industry, operating across 25 countries with 77 sites and 7 R&D centres, employing over 21,500 professionals worldwide. FCM South Africa is currently seeking a Production Graduate to join its Port Elizabeth plant as part of the YES Graduate Programme.
Main Purpose of the Job
The primary objective is to establish and improve work standards and process flows within the production environment.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Setting up standards and implementing essential performance measures.
- Maintaining and updating site and operational warehouse layouts to ensure sound work practices.
- Analysing and improving key business processes, work measurement, and operational design.
- Conducting feasibility studies involving data gathering and presenting findings to management with well-structured reports and presentations.
- Applying Industrial Engineering principles, lean methods, techniques, and FES principles.
- Driving operating efficiencies and identifying potential cost-saving initiatives.
- Providing support in planning and tracking implementation efforts.
Your Profile and Competencies to Succeed
- National Diploma or B-Tech in Industrial Engineering or Logistics Management. Final year 2025 students considered pending official qualification completion confirmation.
- Intermediate-level computer literacy is essential.
- Strong understanding of industrial engineering principles with a focus on supply chain and logistics.
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical abilities, structured and methodical approach.
- Dynamic, proactive, and motivated behaviour.
- Aged between 18 and 35 years.
- Not previously registered with the Y.E.S Youth Programme.
