Pyrotec PackMedia Cape Town is seeking a motivated Estimating Intern to join their Estimating Department. Pyrotec PackMedia specializes in innovative on-pack informational and promotional label and leaflet solutions that enhance packaging value using state-of-the-art digital and litho printing technology. This junior intern position offers a one-year contract based in Capricorn Park, Muizenberg, Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with reviewing and analysing customer requests to prepare accurate quotations
  • Capture data for cost estimates involving materials, labour, and production variables
  • Request, track, and record supplier pricing to support estimating activities
  • Liaise with the Production Team to understand production capabilities and processes
  • Support quote revisions when client specifications change
  • Contribute to job cost analysis to maintain competitive and accurate pricing
  • Identify new materials or suppliers that could improve quality or reduce costs
  • Ensure precise administration and organisation of estimating documentation
  • Assist with internal job processing and ad-hoc duties as assigned
