Purpose of the Role
This internship aims to provide graduates and diploma holders with valuable, real-world experience supporting end-users, learning IT service management processes, and sharpening troubleshooting abilities within a global managed services setting.
What You’ll Gain Exposure To
- Providing first-line IT support via phone, email, and ticketing systems
- Logging, tracking, and managing incidents and service requests accurately
- Assisting users with common IT issues such as password resets and access queries
- Escalating complex problems to senior technical teams while following structured support processes
- Participating in training programs and contributing to knowledge base documentation
- Learning IT service management standards, security practices, and customer engagement skills
Minimum Qualification Requirements
Netsurit welcomes candidates holding South African ICT-aligned qualifications, including:
NQF Level 5 – Entry-Level IT Qualifications (Preferred for Internship Entry)
- Higher Certificate in Information Technology
- National Certificate: IT (Systems Development / Systems Support)
- National Certificate: Computer Science
- Higher Certificate in Software Development
- Higher Certificate in Information Systems
- Higher Certificate in Network Engineering / IT Support
