NedBank: YES Internship Programme 2025
The YES (Youth Employment Service) Programme is a collaborative initiative aimed at reducing unemployment among South African youth. This business-led program, in partnership with the government, offers young individuals the chance to develop essential skills and gain meaningful workplace experience, significantly enhancing their prospects for long-term employment.
Who Can Apply for the Nedbank YES Programme?
- South African youth
- Aged between 18 and 29 years old
- Must possess a Grade 12 / Matric qualification
- Currently unemployed
- Have not participated in a YES Programme with another organization previously
Duration and Start Date of the Nedbank YES Programme
Nedbank YES participants will be employed for a duration of 12 months, providing them with quality work experience. The programme is scheduled to commence on 1 June 2025.
Stipend for Nedbank YES Youth
Participants in the Nedbank YES Programme will receive a monthly stipend, as guided by the YES Programme. This stipend serves as financial support to assist with living, food, and travel-related expenses.
Work Experience Locations for the Nedbank YES Programme
The work experience component of the Nedbank YES Programme will take place at various Nedbank sites, branches, and offices across the country. Some positions may offer the possibility of a hybrid or remote working model. Depending on the division, role, and job requirements, YES youth may be required to work weekdays and/or follow a shift schedule, which may include weekends and public holidays. Therefore, participants should be prepared to travel to and from their workplace.
