MTN Learnership Programme 2026

Trainees will provide comprehensive administrative and coordination support to the assigned function at Bayobab, ensuring smooth operational workflows and contributing to strategic initiatives.

Key Performance Areas

The graduate will be responsible for achieving the following objectives:

  • Participate in strategic meetings and contribute insights as required
  • Support enterprise-wide transformation initiatives
  • Coordinate ad hoc meetings with relevant stakeholders
  • Escalate critical issues impacting time, scope, productivity, cost, or resources
  • Contribute to internal and global project initiatives
  • Prepare documentation for decision-making and tactical change approvals
  • Align execution with the functional strategy
  • Provide ad hoc project reports and status updates
  • Type and format reports according to organizational standards
  • Ensure risk mitigation and control measures are implemented
  • Report progress periodically to line management based on performance metrics
  • Drive continuous improvement to optimize service quality
  • Research, create, and edit presentations in line with MTN’s corporate communication standards
  • Assist in collating performance metric reports for senior management, cross-functional teams, and external vendors
  • Curate knowledge base content and support staff in document retrieval and FAQs
  • Interface with OpCo contacts for strategic opportunities
  • Support documentation production including contract annexes, training materials, and business presentations
  • Assist in defining and updating governance policies and strategies
  • Maintain professionalism and integrity to command respect internally and externally
  • Manage coordination and administrative tasks as required
  • Plan and organize departmental activities effectively
