As an intern, you will support the execution of account plans for multiple accounts, ensuring that engagements yield high-volume sales for both Microsoft and the customer, all while aligning with goals, budgets, and forecasts. You will understand customer drivers of digital transformation and leverage this understanding to engage internal teams, accelerating the customer’s digital transformation and strategy. You will cultivate relationships and utilize Microsoft sales strategies across multiple levels of the customer’s organization to establish strong alignment on long-term goals and secure buy-in and execution. Additionally, you will leverage your knowledge of Microsoft’s product landscape, solutions, and strategy to address customers’ needs.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders on account planning for assigned accounts, setting strategic priorities and plans to achieve outcomes. Structure and lead account planning rhythms to align Solutions/Sales Plays and opportunities, partners, focus, and resources, regularly updating the plan to ensure that the extended virtual team (including partners) and other stakeholders are working toward common goals. Ensure teams document in the Account Plan.
- Manage multiple accounts, determining which accounts should take priority and when to act, while maintaining a high level of commitment and accountability. Coordinate with the account management team to problem-solve and mitigate issues.
- Learn about the business of assigned accounts and the intricacies of their industry, Microsoft’s position in the industry, and direct competitors. Coordinate with internal industry experts (e.g., industry teams) to gather industry data on assigned accounts and improve planning.
- Understand customer drivers of business and technology transformation, contributing to technology/transformation for assigned accounts. Mitigate competitive risk and seek to capture line-of-business wins (e.g., testimonials) through insightful listening.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in:
- Administration,

- Information Technology,
- System Engineering,
- or related fields.
- Fluency in English
