Glencore is offering internship positions for the following disciplines:
- Engineering (Electrical Engineering x 1)
- HSEC (Environmental Health and Management x 1)
Qualifications
- Possession of a relevant National Diploma or Bachelor’s degree
Other Requirements
- Computer literacy with proficiency in MS Office Package
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Initiative and result-oriented mindset
Job Objectives
Reporting to the relevant Manager, the successful candidates will be responsible for:
- Completing Practical 1 (P1) and Practical 2 (P2) tasks within a 12-month Fixed Term Contract under the guidance of a Mentor
- Undergoing practical training and gaining exposure at Glencore’s premises
- Submitting quarterly progress reports as required
- Complying with Health and Safety regulations in the workplace
- Performing general administrative duties and any other tasks as required
- Working rotational shifts when necessary
