Lancet Laboratories is seeking qualified and unemployed candidates for the position of Admin Clerk: Logging. This entry-level role is essential for ensuring that specimens are logged accurately and efficiently.

Role Summary: The Admin Clerk will be responsible for logging specimens in the logging section to meet the required service level standards.

Key Performance Areas:

  • Log specimens in the logging section to meet service level standards.
  • Register log request forms from the Oculus Logging System on the Laboratory Information System according to standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain basic housekeeping, including cleaning of benches as per standard operating procedures.
  • Address logging queries and escalate unresolved issues to Editors or Supervisors to ensure effective service delivery.

Requirements:

  • Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification.
  • BSc Degree will be advantageous.
  • 0 – 1 years of relevant working experience.
