Requirements
To be considered for this role under the “Yes4Youth” Learnership program, candidates must meet the following non-negotiable requirements:
- Must be unemployed at the time of contracting.
- Must be between the ages of 18 – 34 (not turning 35 during the program).
- Must meet the definition of “Black People” as defined in the Broad-Based Black Empowerment Act 53 of 2003, as amended by Act 46 of 2013.
- Must not have previously participated in a “Yes4Youth” program.
Minimum Academic Qualifications
- Electro-Mechanical qualification (or equivalent).
- Experience with Matica/Data card systems is a plus.
Professional Experience
- 1 year or less experience in a warehouse or similar role. Internship or learnership experience will be considered.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Attention to detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Strong presenting and documentation skills.
- Computer literate and efficient in MS Office, Excel, and Outlook.
