Job Responsibilities
As an Artisan Production Grade A, you will be responsible for:
- Performing Services and Repairs:
- Conduct services and repairs to roads-related plant and equipment.
- Handle job cards, stabilize machines or vehicles, conduct inspections, and perform necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Carry out visual inspections, state problems in writing, fix issues, and re-test machines/vehicles.
- Conduct technical analysis, list possible causes of failures, run tests, and record information.
- Providing Mechanical Expertise:
- Perform services as per service category and standards.
- Conduct pre-checks on plants before and after service/repairs, compile inspection sheets, and complete job cards.
- Report findings and perform additional defect inspections, repairs, replacements, cleaning, and testing.
- Administrative and Related Functions:
- Contribute to the compilation of technical reports.
- Maintain job records and other registers.
- Adhere to and maintain agreed development plans.
