The Joburg City Theatres (JCT), an entity of the City of Johannesburg, is committed to skills development by offering Learnership opportunities to unemployed youth. This initiative allows learners to attend classes and gain hands-on work experience in the theatre environment.
Joburg City Theatres is inviting unemployed youth from the City of Johannesburg to apply for the Learnership programme.

Salary Range: R3,500.00 Monthly Stipend
Purpose: The programme aims to provide learners and unemployed youth with valuable work experience and skills development opportunities in live event technical production. The learnership will culminate in a nationally recognized qualification, NQF Level 4.
Requirements:
- Highest Standard passed: Grade 10, 11, or 12.
- Unemployed learners aged between 18 and 35 years.
- No criminal record.
- Good written and spoken English skills.
- Passionate about technical live event production.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- City of Johannesburg residents only.
