Internship Stipend

Successful interns will receive a monthly stipend of R7,860.50.

Key Internship Duties

  • Claims Registration/COID Claim Processing: Claim registration, enquiry handling, document sourcing, quality assurance, benefits calculation verification, and administrative support.
  • Medical Payments: Receiving and validating medical invoices, duplicate checks, invoice capturing, refunds, travel expenses management, and enquiry resolution.
  • Medical Services: Client support, managing medical documents and reports, claims tracking, scanning, and filing.
  • Administrative Assistance: Record management, secretariat support, scheduling, visitor and call handling, document tracking, and general administrative duties.
  • Finance: Budget monitoring, payment file reviews, compensation benefit calculations, assets management, and finance administrative support.

Internship Requirements

  • A three-year tertiary qualification (NQF Level 6) relevant to the internship post, such as Public Administration, Business Administration, Human Resource Management, Financial Management, Nursing, Auditing, or related fields.
  • Specific qualifications apply depending on the internship type (e.g., Nursing qualifications for Medical Services posts, Finance or Accounting for finance internships).
