Role Purpose

Momentum Group Limited is seeking an intern to conduct hourly site walks and meeting room inspections to monitor room usage. This role requires documenting the number of people per room, cross-checking this data with Outlook bookings, capturing data electronically, and analyzing usage trends to optimize facility management.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct hourly site walks to inspect meeting rooms and other facilities.
  • Document the number of people present in each meeting room.
  • Cross-check documented data with room bookings on Microsoft Outlook to ensure accuracy.
  • Capture and maintain data electronically using provided tools and software.
  • Analyze collected data to identify trends and provide insights on room usage.
  • Report discrepancies or issues observed during inspections to the Facilities Manager.
  • Assist with additional facilities management tasks as required.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills

  • Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as Facilities Management, Business Administration, or Data Analytics.
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and other Office 365 applications.
  • Basic knowledge of data entry and data analysis techniques.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to report findings clearly and concisely.
  • Proactive and responsible attitude towards assigned tasks.
  • Experience with data analysis tools like Excel or Power BI.
  • Previous experience in facilities management or a similar role is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with electronic data capture systems.
