About the Role

Business analysts are agents of change, professionals who analyze a business or organization by documenting its systems and processes, assessing its business model, identifying vulnerabilities, and devising solutions. A systems analyst, sometimes referred to as a business technology analyst, is an expert in information technology (IT) with a focus on system analysis, design, and implementation. Systems analysts work with programmers, software providers, and end users to achieve their goals by evaluating the appropriateness of information systems in relation to those goals.

A systems analyst is a person who uses information technology to solve business challenges through analysis and design methodologies. Mechanisms analysts can act as change agents by determining what organizational changes need to be made, creating the mechanisms necessary to carry out those changes, and inspiring people to adopt the systems. IT analysts apply innovative thinking to address challenging IT issues. They promptly recognize problems and implement workable fixes while taking corporate restrictions into account. Their technical proficiency and capacity to assess the wider business implications are key components of their problem-solving abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provides support to the business analysis team.
• Ensure that data is accurately gathered, stored, and reported.
• Assist in reporting key performance metrics to management.
• Assists in preparing business plans and strategies.
• Assist in testing a system.
• Understanding Business and Technology Needs: Communicate with stakeholders to understand their requirements.
• Stay Current: Keep abreast of technology trends and developments.

Requirements

• South African Unemployed youth between the ages of 18 and 34.
• Must not have participated in the YES programme before.
• Matric.
• An interest in learning new apps and software solutions.
• Analytical mindset.
• Problem-Solving: Aptitude for problem-solving.
• Good communication and presentation abilities.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new challenges.

Education

Qualification in IT certification or a related field.
