Requirements
Qualifications and Documentation
- A bachelor’s degree or B-Tech degree on NQF Level 7 in accounting or related fields.
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae.
- Copies of qualifications or official proof (including SAQA accreditation for foreign qualifications).
- A valid South African ID or passport (for foreign nationals).
Candidate Criteria
- Must be a South African citizen or permanent resident.
- Should not currently be engaged in any learnership or internship program.
- Must have no prior formal work experience.
- Willingness to sign an internship agreement with UFS.
- If currently studying, attendance of classes during office hours is not allowed.
Recommended Skills
- Strong understanding of general accounting principles.
- Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Processing transactions on PeopleSoft financial software.
- Capturing and managing financial data.
- Journalising rectifications and account adjustments.
- Handling account inquiries and general finance administration.
