Intern Psychologist: Insights and Experiences

The Division of Student Services and Development at Rhodes University invites suitably qualified candidates to apply for the position of Intern Psychologist on a 1-year contract. This role is an excellent opportunity for recent graduates looking to gain valuable experience in a supportive environment.

Main Objectives

As part of a dedicated team of psychologists and interns in the Counselling Centre, your primary responsibilities will include providing comprehensive counselling and psychological support to students. You will also offer advice to university staff in managing students with psychological issues, all under the supervision of a Psychologist III.

The Requirements

To be eligible for this position, candidates must possess a Master’s Degree in Counselling Psychology.

Selection Process

Remuneration per Annum

The cost to the company per annum is approximately R211,200.00.
