Human Resources Internship: Skills and Insights

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Onboarding and offboarding
  • Ensure compliance in the recruitment process by screening resumes, qualifications, application forms, and conducting compliance checks
  • Schedule and confirm interviews with candidates
  • Post, update, and remove job ads from job boards, careers pages, and social networks
  • Gather payroll data, i.e., bank confirmation letters, SARS letters, etc.
  • Ensure employee personnel files are up to date and data is accurate as per the onboarding checklist
  • Ensure accurate reporting by preparing HR-related reports as needed
  • Assist in collecting audit-required information (internal, external, BBBEE, etc.)
  • Assist with compiling the relevant WSP and ATR by due dates
  • Ensure administration of all SETA requirements
  • Other duties as assigned
