Merchants SA Pty Ltd is seeking a motivated HR Administrator Intern to support the day-to-day operations of the Human Service Delivery department. This internship offers an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to gain practical experience in human resources processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with maintaining and updating employee records
  • Support recruitment activities, including posting job ads and scheduling interviews
  • Help onboard new employees and prepare necessary documentation
  • Provide administrative support for HR projects and initiatives
  • Respond to basic employee inquiries and direct them to the appropriate HR contact

Requirements

  • Human Resources Qualification (N6 Certificate, Diploma, or Degree)
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and ability to handle confidential information
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Proactive attitude and willingness to learn
  • No prior working experience required
  • Age between 18 and 34 years old
  • South African citizen
  • Computer literate in MS Office and MS Outlook
