To qualify, applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Grade 12 learners: Must have a minimum average of 65%
- Current tertiary students: Must have a minimum average of 60% in your most recent results
- Must be studying or intend on studying towards a qualification in one of the fields listed above in 2026
- Must be a South African citizen
- Proof of University application/acceptance letter
- Additionally, submit a motivation letter outlining why you deserve the bursary and how your chosen qualification aligns with your career goals and personal aspirations
- Duration of qualification must be 12 months or longer
- Must apply to or be studying at a South African tertiary institution registered with the Department of Higher Education and Training (DHET)
- Incomplete applications or those with incorrect information will be disqualified
- Must NOT be receiving any other bursary, awards, internships, or emoluments that bind you to enter the service of any organization upon completion of your studies
