Job Description
The Companies & Intellectual Property Commission (CIPC), a member of the Department of Trade, Industry and Competition (dtic), is excited to announce the opening of its Graduate Internship Programme. This initiative aims to foster youth skills development by providing unemployed graduates with valuable work experience that complements their academic studies. The internship will last for a period of 24 months and will be based at our Sunnyside Office in Pretoria.
What is the Internship?
The Internship Programme, as outlined by the Cabinet in December 2002, is a public service initiative designed to provide unemployed graduates with essential work experience. It offers students the opportunity to apply the skills they have acquired during their studies in a practical work environment.
Beneficiaries of the Internship Programme
- Unemployed South African graduates from higher education institutions who have completed their degrees or diplomas.
- Unemployed graduates who have not had any prior work experience.
- Unemployed graduates who have never participated in an Internship Programme.
- Applicants must be between the ages of 18 to 35 years old.
Remuneration
Interns will receive a monthly stipend of R12,000.00. Successful applicants will be required to sign a Graduate Internship Programme Agreement.
