Senior Asset Clerk

Location: Pretoria

Salary: R269,499 per annum (Level 06)

Requirements: 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Public Management / Administration / Logistics Management or Purchasing Management or equivalent qualification.

Advantageous: General exposure in the field will be an added advantage.

Knowledge: The candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be computer literate, and work well under pressure. Knowledge of LOGIS and asset management is essential.

Duties: Responsible for asset management, managing the asset disposal process, ensuring proper control of the departmental assets register, and conducting asset verification in Head Office and Provincial Offices. Regular updating of asset registers and reconciliation between BAS and LOGIS systems is required.


Senior Switchboard Operator

Location: Pretoria

Requirements: 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Communications / Public Relations / Journalism / Media Studies or equivalent qualification.

Advantageous: General exposure in the field will be an added advantage.

Knowledge: Basic understanding of planning and generating content for the intranet and its usage as part of a communication plan is required. The candidate should be resourceful, people-oriented, trustworthy, punctual, and hard-working.

Duties: Responsible for the maintenance and updating of the intranet site, generating content for the intranet site, and managing the switchboard operations. Provide support on all internal communication events and campaigns.


Communication Clerk

Location: Pretoria

Salary: R269,499 per annum (Level 06)

Requirements: 3-year National Diploma or Degree in Communication / Journalism / Media Studies or equivalent qualification.

Advantageous: General exposure in the field will be an added advantage.

Knowledge: Excellent communication (written & oral) and interpersonal skills, exceptional organizing and planning skills, and the ability to work independently and under pressure are essential. Understanding of government’s mandate and development communication is required.

Duties: Provide support to the directorate on communication and engagement initiatives, assist in coordinating the daily rapid response system, and contribute to the development of content within the unit. Draft communication content as required and coordinate effective internal and external meetings.
