Absa, a proudly African financial services group with over 100 years of rich history, invites applications for a 12-Month Unemployed Learnership – Trainee Financial Advisers. This opportunity is ideal for graduates holding a Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Law who are passionate about launching a career in financial services and helping clients achieve their financial goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Workplace Experience: Fully participate in all workplace activities aligned to your development objectives.
  • Learning & Development: Attend and engage in structured training and development interventions.
  • Customer Support: Assist customers and team members to ensure ongoing performance and service excellence.
  • Administration: Complete all required administrative tasks including tracking and reporting.
  • Sales to Target: Actively work leads efficiently to achieve agreed strike rates and productivity measures.
  • Customer Experience: Deliver service excellence and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain confidentiality of client information and follow prescribed scripts to ensure compliance.

FAIS Fit and Proper Requirements

  • FSCA-Approved Qualification
  • Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5)
  • Product Specific Training and Continuous Professional Development once onboarded
  • Attest to honesty, integrity, and good standing

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Advanced Diploma in Accounting (Required)
  • National Senior Certificate / Matric (Grade 12) (Required)
  • Preference for candidates with FSCA-approved qualifications and RE5 Regulatory Exam
