National Certificate in Gaming Operations Learnership Programme

This accredited learnership programme offers unemployed individuals an opportunity to obtain a National Certificate in Gaming Operations (NQF Level 4). The 12-month programme provides learners with essential workplace exposure within the gaming industry, enhancing their employment prospects upon completion. Candidates must be willing to work in both smoking and non-smoking environments.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Ensure all equipment in the work area is functioning and ready for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned sections or stations.
  • Communicate and follow up on equipment faults or defects.
  • Provide guests with a warm welcome, greeting them courteously on arrival and departure.
  • Clear slot machines on designated days and conduct daily counts.
  • Capture data accurately into the system.
  • Report any suspicious transactions promptly.
  • File and maintain documentation as required.

Additional Information

  • Appointment is subject to KwaZulu-Natal Gaming Board licensing.
  • Sun Sibaya reserves the right not to make an appointment.
