Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, or related field OR equivalent practical experience
- Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills
- Basic understanding of data analysis concepts
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to learn and grow
Preferred Experience:
- 2+ years professional data analysis experience
- Proficiency in data manipulation and visualization tools
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
- Ability to work independently in a remote/freelance capacity
Technical Proficiencies:
- Excel/Google Sheets (basic to advanced)
- Basic SQL or willingness to learn
- Data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Report generation, data entry, and validation
- Python or R for data analysis
- Statistical analysis software and ETL tools
Work Schedule and Compensation
- Most clients operate during US business hours, Monday to Friday; some projects may require different hours
- Opportunities available full-time or part-time
- Starting rate: $5.00 per hour
- Payments processed via Deel
Equipment Requirements
- Computer with minimum 8GB RAM and Intel i5 or AMD Ryzen 5 processor
- Internet speed of at least 40 Mbps
- Headset with noise-cancelling microphone and webcam
- Backup computer and internet connection
- Quiet, dedicated workspace at home
