The Learner role at First National Bank (FNB) is an excellent opportunity for individuals looking to gain valuable work experience while completing a formal, registered qualification. During this learnership period, the incumbent will be tasked with delivering various assignments aimed at achieving predefined work objectives, including research, analysis, administration, and project work that contribute positively to the business area.
The Learner is expected to meet all qualification requirements, with additional work-related training provided to enhance skills and knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Identify and escalate potential risks that may lead to increased costs.
- Demonstrate cost consciousness and awareness of personal contributions to costs.
- Increase knowledge and understanding of financial processes while adhering to required operating standards.
- Adhere to the Organisation’s shared values, service standards, and Treating Customers Fairly (TCF) outcomes in customer interactions.
- Resolve customer dissatisfaction and complaints, taking ownership of issues and communicating with customers according to agreed standards.
- Collect customer feedback to help improve service quality.
- Ensure that product knowledge and advice are technically accurate.
- Work with enhanced processes and procedures to maintain operational efficiencies.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards.
- Follow Company policies and procedures while maintaining accurate activity reports.
- Investigate innovative ways to optimize processes.
- Contribute to aligning business processes with customer service.
- Advise line management on potential opportunities for process and system improvements.

Requirements:
- Must have a Grade 12 / Matric certificate.
- Computer literate (MS Office).
- No work experience required.
- Must be a South African citizen.
- Must be between the ages of 18 and 35.
- Currently unemployed.
