Requirements

Qualifications

  • Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognised university.
  • Strong interest in FACTS and STATCOM technologies.
  • Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in interpreting technical data.
  • Experience with data analysis tools such as PSCAD, DigSilent, PSSe, Excel, MATLAB, or Python is advantageous.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex technical information.
  • Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management principles is preferred.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic.
  • Knowledge of power electronics, reactive power compensation, project development, and industry standards is a plus.
