Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Power Systems, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent from a recognised university.
- Strong interest in FACTS and STATCOM technologies.
- Analytical and problem-solving capabilities with proficiency in interpreting technical data.
- Experience with data analysis tools such as PSCAD, DigSilent, PSSe, Excel, MATLAB, or Python is advantageous.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for articulating complex technical information.
- Organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and commitment to delivering accurate, high-quality work.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and project management principles is preferred.
- Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and strong work ethic.
- Knowledge of power electronics, reactive power compensation, project development, and industry standards is a plus.
