Minimum Requirements
- Education: Grade 12 (NQF Level 4) or equivalent
- Experience: Previous managerial experience or reliever experience
- Skills: Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Teams/Zoom
- Flexibility: Willingness to work irregular hours, including evenings, weekends, and stock takes after hours
- Mobility: Willingness to be relocated from store to store if needed
- Physical Ability: Capacity to undertake hands-on tasks
- Assessment: Completion of an assessment

Responsibilities
As a Clothing Assistant Manager, you will support the Store Manager in various capacities to ensure seamless operations and excellent customer service.
Customer Journey:
- Implement and maintain high customer service standards
- Respond to customer service requests and provide product/service information
- Adhere to visual merchandising (VM) standards and execute promotions
People Management:
- Manage staff-related aspects, including addressing employee shortcomings
- Assist with recruitment, training, and development initiatives
- Focus on performance management, talent management, and succession planning
- Lead and manage a team effectively
Operations/Stock Management/Risk Management:
- Open and close the store following security procedures
- Conduct daily reporting and administrative tasks
- Ensure merchandise is handled, displayed, and monitored per company policies
- Control shrinkage and adhere to OHS standards
Sales/Promotions:
- Promote sales to meet budget targets and monitor performance
- Conduct promotions and implement markdowns and RTCs
