Eskom Youth Employment Service (YES) Programme 2025
The Youth Employment Service (YES) is an initiative led by the Presidency aimed at tackling the youth unemployment crisis in South Africa. Eskom is committed to creating work opportunities for unemployed youth in alignment with the BBBEE definition.
We invite young South Africans eager to enter the job market to seize this opportunity for a life-changing first work experience in the dynamic energy sector.
Successful applicants will undergo a recruitment process and, if selected, will be placed in Eskom Operations across various clusters.
Job Requirements
- Must be a South African Citizen
- Aged between 18 to 34
- Grade 12 with Maths & Accounting
- No prior work experience
- Should not have been employed permanently with a single employer for more than 1 year
- Should not be studying full-time in the year of employment
- Should not have participated or registered in the YES initiative before
