Afrizan People Intelligence is seeking a driven and highly organised Screener to support our recruitment team. This entry-level, administration-focused role is responsible for reviewing and filtering incoming CVs against open vacancies.
The Screener plays a critical quality-control role in the recruitment lifecycle, ensuring only suitably qualified candidates progress to Recruiters or Talent Acquisition Specialists. Key Responsibilities
- Review high volumes of incoming CVs against specific job requirements
- Assess candidate qualifications, experience, and eligibility criteria
- Accurately filter out non-qualified applicants
- Shortlist and present relevant CVs to Recruiters or Talent Acquisition Professionals
- Ensure all candidate information is correctly captured and updated on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Maintain strict adherence to job specifications and screening criteria
- Flag any compliance or eligibility concerns to the recruitment team
- Support administrative tasks related to the recruitment process as required
Minimum Requirements
- Degree (3+ year formal qualification)
- Strong administrative capability
- High attention to detail
- Strong written comprehension skills
- Ability to work with structured criteria and follow process
- Comfortable working with systems and databases
- Basic proficiency in MS Office (especially Excel and Outlook)
