Job Description

Sasso Consulting Ltd is seeking a Labour Legal Advisor (Junior to Intermediate Level) to join their well-established labour consulting team based in Gauteng. This role is ideal for a legal practitioner with 2 to 4 years of practical experience in labour law, particularly with hands-on CCMA representation. The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, providing expert labour law advice and managing case matters independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Represent clients at the CCMA and relevant Bargaining Councils, including conciliations and arbitrations.
  • Chair disciplinary and incapacity hearings.
  • Advise clients on misconduct and grievance procedures.
  • Provide day-to-day labour law guidance and support.
  • Draft pleadings, arbitration bundles, employment contracts, workplace policies, and formal legal correspondence.
  • Maintain professionalism and confidence in all client interactions.

Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of practical CCMA representation experience.
  • Strong exposure to disciplinary and labour advisory work.
  • Own a reliable vehicle for client visits and hearings.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, service-driven environment.
