Track Force Tactical Security Services is a specialist security company dedicated to wildlife protection, anti-poaching operations, and tactical field response. We collaborate closely with private reserves and conservation partners to deploy trained security personnel and K9 units where they are needed most.
We are currently seeking a motivated and passionate Entry-Level K9 Handler to join our team. This role offers hands-on experience in K9 operations within a meaningful conservation-focused career.
Role Overview
- Work with trained tracking and detection dogs to support reserve security operations
- Conduct patrols with your assigned K9 partner
- Maintain canine health, training, and daily readiness
- Respond quickly and professionally to incidents
- Observe and develop canine behavioral skills
- Contribute to operational reports and planning
- Uphold safety standards and tactical protocols
This role requires discipline, situational awareness, teamwork, and adaptability to challenging field conditions.
Position Requirements
- Preferred but not mandatory — training can be provided
- High level of physical fitness
- Willingness to live and work on remote game reserves (accommodation included)
Qualifications & Skills
- Interest or basic knowledge of canine behavior and handling
- Background in security, law enforcement, military, or emergency services (advantageous)
- Ability to work in dangerous game territory
- Strong communication, observation, and critical-thinking skills
- Experience with service or working dogs (beneficial but not required)
