Requirements: Grade 12 certificate (NQF level 4) with no experience required. A valid driver’s license is necessary.
Knowledge: Understanding of registry duties and practices, data capture, and computer operation is crucial. Candidates should have a working knowledge of the legislative framework governing the Public Service and the procedures for storage and retrieval in the registry environment. Skills in computer literacy, planning, organization, and effective communication are essential. Candidates should also possess problem-solving, decision-making, and innovative thinking skills.
Duties: Duties include providing registry counter services, managing incoming and outgoing correspondence, ensuring effective filing and record management, operating office machines related to registry functions, and processing documents for archiving and disposal.
